Good afternoon everyone! Enjoying the beautiful flowers while studying outside at a coffee shop this afternoon. Weather is absolutely gorgeous after several stormy days. What an intense election season! It’s refreshing to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Would you believe i have a relative of this plant just outside my front door in bloom at the moment??
It’s two tone purple, light petals – dark tube and is a vine/climber called a Bower Vine but am sure they are related! Will confirm in a little while.. i hope! 😉

OK… i’m going for Yellow Trumpet Vine, Campsis radicans of the Bignonia family. My bower vine is a member of the same family, different genus.
I also have an Orange Trumpet Vine that has big bunches of long, but thin tube flowers that grow in clusters that bloom in June. and look like an orange waterfall! 🙂
