The Saint-Exupéry quote is one of my favorites. My mother cultivated a backyard full of different types/colors of roses and as a child it was a special place for me. Our name, Rosenfeld, means field of roses.

What a beautiful memory and a lovely namesake! Do you want to have a garden of your own some day? My grandfather and grandmother named my mother and her siblings after different types of flowers.

I love that they are named for flowers! Unfortunately I don’t have the gift of a green thumb, and I live at too high an altitude. I appreciate wildflowers. 🙂
