Good morning everyone! I’m about to head to an amusement park with my friends today, but before I go, I would like to share a quote by Stacey Charter! 🙂
“Life can be like a roller Coaster and just when you think you’ve had enough…
and you’re ready to get off the ride, and take the calm easy merry go round…
You change your mind, throw your hands in the air and ride the roller coaster all over again.
That’s exhilaration… That’s living a bit on the edge…that’s being ALIVE.
See you all soon! ❤ Sa
Sarah Josepha Hale is widely known for her nursery rhyme “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, and she published a collection of poems called, “The Genius of Oblivion” . She campaigned for the American holiday of Thanksgiving by writing letters to five U.S. presidents. Abe Lincoln was the one convinced enough to support legislation to make it a national holiday. She also had correspondence with Matthew Vassar to offer educational opportunities to women. Her first novel, Northwood, was an anti-slavery work that established her literary reputation.
The excitement of life is in the numinous experience wherein we are given to each other in that larger celebration of existence in which all things attain their highest expression, for the universe, by definition, is a single gorgeous celebratory event.Thomas Berry
