#FOTD- A Fairy’s Birthday

Frantically flying throughout the yard,
Rosina, the fairy, is about to celebrate her friend’s birthday
Surprise party within the delicate petals
Rosina finished decorating the haven
Her magical dust enhancing the fragrance
Flitting from one bloom in the middle to the next
First an orange, then a yellow, and finally a magenta
Picking up all of her friends and family members last minute
Lively conversation among the giggling females
Settling on the brilliant aster residence
All of the sudden, Kara bursted onto the luscious field
blowing magical fireworks into the air
Known as the loose cannon of the bunch
Her sillage easily recognizable from her sparks!

Hello everyone! I'm a technical writer by day, creative writer by night. I have a wild imagination yearning for more in life. I'm fascinated by many subjects that have developed into a sort of mental and physical wanderlust that ultimately leads me to experience a variety of cultural shocks. Welcome to my journey and looking forward to reading your blogs!

  1. Great imaginative poem! (But i had to look up ‘sillage’!) πŸ˜‰

The lilac asters are wonderful. Mum and I bought some carnations exactly the colour of your magenta ones yesterday!

Hope everything is going well. -)

    1. Yes, Ms. Laura Venturine introduced a new word for me. πŸ™‚ I hope to use it more often. Aw. You and your mom must be really enjoying those flowers! So much to do in my life, I hope I am making time for all that is important to me! Hope you’re enjoying life.

      1. Life is great here – as long as you can ignore all the lunacy of our politicians (in UK, US AND here!) πŸ˜‰

The Carnations are still as beautiful as the day we bought them…

I suspect we will never have the time for all of what we find is important to us in our short life. I think we should aim for spending more time on seeking the essence of what is important to each one of us and enjoying as much as is appropriate what happens as we do. πŸ˜‰

Sometimes though, it may be important/unavoidable that there are things we must go through that are not so enjoyable – just sayin’ πŸ™‚
