9/11 Extended #Haiku

A Not-so Distant Memory

Chaotic bustle.
Confused as I watch TV.
Classmates are upset.

News stations haywire.
Teachers comforting children.
Students want to leave.

Hard to concentrate.
How do teachers explain this
complex sad event?

Seventeen years passed,
Building incredible dreams
Risen from ashes.

Conspiracies formed.
Forgiveness is difficult.
Searching for answers.

There’s no consensus.
Remember those we have lost.
Honor their short lives.

Sun Tzu wisely said
Understand our enemy
No prolonged warfare.

Build your opponent
a golden bridge to retreat.
Is that possible?

Don’t bully the innocent.
Can we achieve peace?

Hello everyone! I'm a technical writer by day, creative writer by night. I have a wild imagination yearning for more in life. I'm fascinated by many subjects that have developed into a sort of mental and physical wanderlust that ultimately leads me to experience a variety of cultural shocks. Welcome to my journey and looking forward to reading your blogs!

  1. My partner and I absolutely love your blog and find many of your post’s to be exactly I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content in your case?
I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write with regards
to here. Again, awesome web site!
